Congratulations to House Audacia for displaying the following core values:

  • One member displayed KINDNESS and CHIVARLY in offering to open the door for a large group of ladies.
  • One member displayed LEADERSHIP when she offered to lead devotions during armor time.

Congratulations to House Fides for displaying the following core values:

  • One member showed REVERANCE leading devotions in the cabin at Team Building Camp.
  • Four members displayed INITIATIVE and FAITHFULNESS when they beautifully painted the school rock to reflect their house loyalty.

Congratulations to House Sapientia for displaying the following core values:

  • One member displayed WILLINGNESS TO HELP his teachers outside of class.
  • One member displayed KINDNESS and SERVICE when he volunteered to clean Mrs. Sneed’s room.
  • One member displayed KINDNESS and THOUGHTFULNESS when he greeted  the grammar school students with high-fives as he left the building.
  • One member displayed LEADERSHIP by organizing, designing, ordering, and distributing CCS cross country spirit wear.
  • Eleven members displayed INITIATIVE, GOODNESS, and KINDNESS when they planned and provided a House Breakfast for everyone in their house on Friday, September 12.

  • Three members exemplified SERVICE and KINDNESS at the Team Building Camp when they picked up trash for others after meals.
  • One member exemplified REVERANCE as she led the cabin in devotions at Team Building Camp.
  • Three members exemplified ACADEMIC INTEREST AND DILIGENCE in Mr. Leland’s classes.
  • Two members exemplified EXCEPTIONAL COURAGE at the Team Building Camp on the high-ropes.
  • One member exemplified a SERVANT’S HEART when she stayed after history class to clean up a book shelf which was left out of order.
  • Six member exemplified the best TEAM EFFORT on Mrs. Dearing’s continent project.

  • Two members exemplified ACADEMIC INTEREST AND DILIGENCE in Mr. Leland’s classes.
  • Two members continually exemplify LEADERSHIP,  SELFLESSNESS, SERVICE, and RESPECT by their insightful engagement in Mr. Leland’s class discussions.
  • One member exemplified SERVICE by voluntarily cleaning up the ladies’ bathroom: wiping out sinks and counters and picking up trash.

Congratulations to House Sapientia for exemplifying the following core values:

  • One member exemplified KINDNESS going out of her way to make sure no one was left out when a buddy system was required at Team Building Camp.
  • One member exemplified CARING AND THINKING OF OTHERS when he gave his partner timely, precise, and accurate instruction on the high-ropes at Team Building.
  • One member exemplified a SERVANT’S HEART when she stayed after history class to clean up a book shelf which was left out of order.

Team Building House Game 9/4/14

With the House Captains as our “Damsels in Distress,” the house members had to work together and follow a series of instructions in order to find and then “free” their captain.

After much excitement (and discussion) it was decided that Audacia and Sapientia tied for 1st place (30 points each) with Fides delivering a strong 2nd (20 points).

  • Four members exhibited KINDNESS during lunch by cheerfully inviting new students to CCS a seat at an already full picnic table.
  • Four members exhibited INITIATIVE AND FAITHFULNESS by consistently leading armor time devotions.
  • One member exhibited CHIVALARY and KINDNESS by setting up chairs for chapel on Thursday morning.
  • One member exhibited CHIVALRY by holding the door for ALL classes after armor time.
  • One member in armor time exhibited INTEGRITY and HONESTY when he confessed to a dress code violation even though his teacher did not catch the infraction.
  • One member exhibited SERVICE after chapel when she volunteered to carry a teacher’s chair back to the Latin room.

  • Two members exhibited KINDNESS during lunch by cheerfully inviting new students to CCS a seat at an already full picnic table.
  • Two member exhibited CHIVALARY and KINDNESS by setting up chairs for chapel on Thursday morning.
  • Two members exhibited LEADERSHIP AND REVERANCE by leading the chapel worship.
  • One member exhibited INITIATIVE in Latin II when he took out the trash without being asked.
  • One member exhibited COMPASSION during armor time when she asked prayer for a fellow student who was nervous about an upcoming surgery.

Congratulations to House Sapientia for exhibiting the following core values:

  • Two members exhibited KINDNESS during lunch by cheerfully inviting new students to CCS a seat at an already full picnic table.
  • Two members exhibited CHIVALARY and KINDNESS by setting up chairs for chapel on Thursday morning.
  • Two members exhibited LEADERSHIP AND REVERANCE by leading the chapel worship.
  • One member proved CHIVALRY  is not lost when he reached out to help a lady to her feet at Cross Country practice.
  • One member exhibited a SERVANT’S HEART when he helped a fellow student pick up all the papers which had fallen out of her binder during history class.
