Congratulations to House Audacia for choosing virtue:

  • One member chose PERSEVERANCE by deciding to stick with a job in the face of disappointment.
  • Eleven lady members chose RESPECT and OBEDIENCE as evidenced by their dress on Friday.
  • One member chose EXCELLENCE by her diligence in presenting her class project in history.
  • Two members chose EXCELLENCE by demonstrating outstanding academic work in Mr. Leland’s class.
  • One member chose to SERVE by going the extra mile and volunteered to tape up the gym floor before the Fall Festival for Mrs. Gasparrini.

Congratulations to House Fides for choosing virtue:

  • Two members chose a SERVANT’S HEART by carrying pizza boxes to the dumpster for Mrs. Dupont.
  • .One member chose EXCELLENCE by demonstrating outstanding academic work in Mr. Leland’s class.
  • Three members chose SERVANTHOOD at the Fall Festival when they not only volunteered for the dunk tank but displayed wonderful attitudes.

  • Five members chose EXCELLENCE by their diligence in presenting their class project in history.
  • One members chose COMPASSION and GOODNESS by devoting her entire time at the Fall Festival to raise money for foreign missions.
  • One member chose SERVICE and THOUGHTFULNESS by Cloroxing all the desks in Latin class when a classmate went home sick.
  • One member chose EXCELLENCE by demonstrating outstanding academic work in Mr. Leland’s classes.

Despite the weather forecast, the CCS Fall Festival was bigger and better than ever!  Thanks to ALL that helped coordinate, organize, and plan such a fun event for the school and community.

  • One member pursued KINDNESS when she found a lost bracelet and returned it to the owner.
  • One member pursued DILIGENCE and INITIATIVE when she voluntarily worked through lunch multiple days for Mrs. Dearing’s group project.
  • Five members pursued DILIGENCE and INITIATIVE when they voluntarily worked through lunch for Mrs. Dearing’s group project.

  • One member pursues KINDNESS by continually opening the door for Mrs. Dupont.
  • Two members pursued a SACRIFICIAL ACT by relearning a history song from last year to present to the new seventh grade class as an example of Mrs. Dearing’s expectations.
  • One member was observed by Mr. Staggers pursuing HELPFULNESS when he offered to get a bowl of ice for the guests serving lunch to our students.
  • One member pursued KINDNESS and GOODNESS when she greeted Mrs. Dearing on the way to class and offered to carry her teacher’s cumbersome computer case.

  • One member pursues SERVICE by volunteering to pass out journals for Mrs. Dearing every time there is a need.
  • Two members pursued a SACRIFICIAL ACT by relearning a history song from last year to present to the new seventh grade class as an example of Mrs. Dearing’s expectations.
  • One member pursued SERVICE and GOODNESS when he carried two big boxes of books to the library for Mrs. Kuhn during his morning break.
  • Six members pursued DILIGENCE and INITIATIVE when they voluntarily worked through lunch multiple days for Mrs. Dearing’s group project.
