Women’s Spring Soccer Season has begun!  Go out and support these lady warriors!

CCS Flag Football team started off their season with a WIN over First Assembly. Almost all of their games are at home at 4pm so come out and cheer them on!

  • One member exhibited SERVICE by taking out an over-flowing trash can without being asked.
  • One member exhibited COMPASSION and SERVICE by helping a fellow student on crutches carry her books to class.
  • One member exhibited SERVICE when he volunteered to take out the trash for Mrs. Dearing.
  • One member exhibited DILIGENCE and EXCELLENCE by throwing himself into his Rhetoric recitation wholeheartedly and giving the best performance of the year.
  • One member exhibited HUMILITY by owning up to his mistake and asking forgiveness for his sin instead of hiding from the truth even though it made him look bad.

  • One member exhibited a SERVANT’S HEART when he helped with the set up for the Daddy/Daughter dance.
  • One member exhibited a SERVANT’S HEART when she assisted Miss Leland upon recognition that she needed an extra hand.
  • One member exhibited COMPASSION and SERVICE by helping a fellow student on crutches carry her books to class.
  • One member exhibited KINDNESS and SERVICE when she volunteered to occupy Mrs. Bingham’s children all afternoon while the teacher was judging the Fifth Grade Science Fair.
  • One member exhibited SERVICE by helping Mrs. Ross bring items from her car and blessing her by not having to make multiple trips.

 

 

House “Dean” Team Update 3/24/15

The 4th Quarter started off with the 10th graders entertaining the 3rd graders with a Medieval Marriage Mayhem, and Sapientia blessing the teachers with a surprise breakfast. (Core Value pts for 10th graders, 5pts Admin pts for Sapientia)

Then Sapientia surprised one of its members who was to participate in the Acrofitness Fit-a-thon by raising $55 to support him and benefit A Cure for Cancer.

Fides also demonstrated their generous hearts by raising $28.74 in change for Women’s Health Center of Cabarrus County.

  • One member demonstrated DILIGENCE and SELFLESSNESS by her own excellent work, both in revising her paper and helping her classmates to make their own papers better.

  • One member demonstrated  PRUDENCE by demonstrating self-control during class.
  • Two members demonstrated CHEERFUL DILIGENCE by taking on an extra Latin memorization for Grandparents’ Day.
  • One member demonstrated SERVICE and SELFLESSNESS by vacuuming Mrs. Dearing’s room and giving up part of his lunch period.

  • One member demonstrated INTEGRITY and HUMILITY when he apologized to Mrs. Dearing for being “out of order” when she made a suggestion he did not care to follow.
  • One member demonstrated SERVICE by volunteering to take out Mrs. Dearing’s trash on a rainy, cold day.
  • One member demonstrated KINDNESS and CHIVALRY when he saw Mrs. Ross struggling with a heavy box and carried it to her car.
  • One member demonstrated CHEERFUL SERVICE by helping his teacher carry stacks of books to and from his classroom.
  • One member demonstrated CHEERFUL SERVICE by helping Mr. Leland carry stacks of books to and from his classroom.
  • One member demonstrated DILIGENCE and INITIATIVE by working to the best of her ability in Mr. Leland’s class.
