Our Student Government leaders were ready for another round of pancakes and so they hosted a Spring Pancake Breakfast for the whole school!
Early morning set up resulted in all pancakes being hot and ready on time and happy customers all around. CCS Warriors LOVE making sweet (and yummy) memories together!
CCS has SPIRIT! And we like to use a week to show it off!
Mythology Monday
Tie Dye Tuesday
Wednesday – America Day
Thursday- Career Day
We ended Spirit Week with Sports Day on Friday! What fun we ALL had! Go WARRIORS!!
(Sorry, we don’t have pictures from that fun day, but if any of you have some, we would love for you to share them with us so we can add them to this post!!)
This year we are piloting a change to our Student Government. Instead of having one Student Body President for the duration of the school year, each House Captain is leading the student body for one quarter.
Our third quarter Student Body President was House Sapientia Captain, Lee Williamsen!

At the end of third quarter it was time for Lee to step down and hand the job of SG President over to our next Captain! Per our CCS tradition, Lee signed our CCS sword!
Welcome Ryan Gasparrini as our 4th quarter Student Body President!

Ryan has attended CCS since K4! He is the Captain of House Constantia and President of SABM. We are so thankful for Ryan as our 4th quarter Student Body president to finish out the 2020-21 school year with excellence!
House Audacia partnered with Cabarrus County’s Meals on Wheels to host a school wide Pet Food Drive! Many of the people who benefit from Meals on Wheels have pets that they are unable to feed. House Audacia was able to collect and donate 424 pounds of dry dog and cat food!
Grammar School students brought in 253 pounds of pet food!
House Sapientia won the House competition bringing in 87.6 pounds of pet food!
House Audacia brought in 74.3 pounds of food!
House Constantia contributed 5.15 pounds of pet food!
House Fides came in 4th place with 4.1 pounds of dry pet food.
Once all of the food was donated- House Audacia spent hours separating and packaging the food into one gallon ziplock bags! Well done House Audacia!
Thank you to everyone who donated pet food to Cabarrus County Meals on Wheels!
